Face Paint Removal:
I use only cosmetic grade professional face paint. It is technically not paint, but a cosmetic. Some colors may remain after washing with simple soap and water. Here are the best ways to remove this make-up:
Do not RUB the paint to get it off. This pushes the paint into the pores and makes it stain more! Use a safe soap (make-up remover, no-tears baby shampoo, face wash, etc.) to make a paste with the soap and the paint. Let the soap and paint “mess” sit for 30-60 seconds, then rinse it off with water.
For lingering color, use oil free eye make-up remover. If you have already tried to remove the paint with another method and there is still lingering color, apply a moisturizing lotion, wait at least 30 minutes, and wash again.
Glitter Tattoo Removal:
Properly cared for tattoos will last approximately 3 to 7 days, depending on the skin type and where the design is placed. They last longer on dry skin than on oily skin and they won’t last as long if they get rubbed by your clothing. For best results, your skin should be clean, dry, and free of oils or moisturizers before application. To prolong the life of your tattoo, wash it gently with a mild soap and NO cloth. Pat, DO NOT RUB, the area dry. Glitter tattoos can be removed by using rubbing alcohol.
